Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join one of our top clients based in Rochester. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a growing and dedicated team.
The main purpose of the position would be to support the Group Financial Controller in looking after the accounts and invoicing.
- Processing of sales and purchase ledger
- Performance of monthly supplier statement and bank reconciliations
- Expense management and reporting
- Setting up payment runs
- Ensure corrective journals are posted before following month end cut off
- Completing month end reports
- Financial analysis
- Make recommendations for process improvements on a continual basis
- Balance sheet reconciliations - review, investigate and resolve on a weekly basis
- Produce weekly cash flow
- Create aged debtor and creditor list
- VAT returns
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Profit and loss accounts
- Carrying out audits as required
- Investigate and resolve any queries on a timely basis
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar position
- Experience of SAGE 50 is essential
- Good organisation skills with strong attention to detail
- Able to use initiative and think logically in busy situations
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a confident and tenacious telephone manner
