Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to support an SME business based on the outskirts of Petersfield. This position will be an 18-month contract, covering maternity leave and will be reporting into the Company Accountant, working alongside a team of 2.
The Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:
- Managing the sales and purchase ledger function
- Processing and coding supplier invoices and managing petty cash transactions and staff expenses
- Reconciling accounts, preparing payment runs and dealing with unallocated payments
- Supporting with payroll duties and investigating discrepancies
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Use of Sage (desirable)
- IT Literate
- Can work using own initiative
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
