Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join an SME business based in Southampton. This position will be providing support to the Finance Director and work within a busy accounts department.
The Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and processing the Sales and Purchase ledgers
- Reconciling petty cash, banking’s received and suppliers statements
- Preparing payment runs and processing expenses
- Chasing outstanding debtors to reduce aged debt
- Supporting with payroll duties
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards the qualification
- Experience using Xero (desirable)
- IT Literate
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
