Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join one of our top clients based in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join an fantastic team with a great working environment, a permeant role looking for someone with a bubbly personality. Previous accounts experience is required, and a working knowledge of Sage 50 is beneficial.
Your Duties Will Include the Following
- Recording and inputting daily payments
- Rasing sales invoices, statements and allocating customer payments
- Processing employee expenses and receipts
- Manage credit control and produce debtors' reports
- Preform credit checks on new customers and process new applications
- Updating journals in the accounting ledger
- Bank account reconciliation
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Assisting with year end duties
- Sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Management of debtors
- Liaising with customers by phone and by email
- Process Purchase Invoices and manager creditor accounts
- Taking payments over the phone
- Dealing with all ledgers, staff expenses and cash books
- Creation of statements upon request from customers
- Responding to accounts queries from management and other company staff
- 2 years + experience of working within accounts / finance
- Knowledge of and experience using Sage 50 accounting software
- Knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation of work
- Ability to use own initiative
- Good written and verbal communication skills
