Account Manager- Sales   Location: Portsmouth   Salary: £18,000 -£24,000 Basic Salary Plus commission . Realistic OTE £28000 -£30000
 
Start date: Mid July.
Hours of work: Core working hours Monday to Friday   
 
Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a very well-established business who are based in Portsmouth.

Due to growth plans for 2021 our client is now looking to recruit an Account Manager / Sales Support to join the business.  
 
As an Account Manager, Sales Support Executive you will be responsible for building and maintaining new and old tender opportunities. Supporting the Senior team with tender opportunities for them to contact, quote and close.  
 
As an Account Manager, Sales Support Executive  you will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Be the first point of call for customers via email and on the telephone
  • Gain repeat business by calling through to old customers to establish what may have changed and rectify this
  • Support customers with their billing and account queries. Making any changes to their accounts.
  • Take ownership of sales targets and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Using the CRM to keep a log of all activity, and chase and follow up on tender opportunities.
  • Use the specific system to identify tender opportunities for the senior team to close.
  • Sell to existing customers to grow revenue.
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance to ensure sales verification is compliant.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage any risks and find a solution, escalating where relevant.
  • Responding to customers enquiries with professionalism
  • Processing customers’ requests using the internal system.
  • Challenging updates and raising escalations
  • Always provide an excellent customer service.
  The ideal Account Manager / Sales Support will have/be: 
  • Will have had experience in managing clients via the telephone
  • Will ideally have had previous experience in maximising opportunities
  • Able to manage and prioritise time and workloads.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to develop good sales and account management skills.
  • Excellent communicator and able to deal with people at varying levels of the business.
  • Take ownership of issues and resolve them efficiently.
  • B2B Sales experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in Account Management.
  • Ability to self-motivate.
  • Proven record of delivering against targets.
  • Must drive.
  • Competent in using email, phone, and LinkedIn.
