We are now seeking someone to join the 2nd line help desk to work from our newly refurbished state of the art Head Office in Chandler’s Ford.
The Role:
- The logging of incidents to the ticketing system; received via email, self-service, or telephone calls.
- Assists and guides other Service Desk team members in the resolution of their active incidents.
- Takes ownership of assigned incidents, through to resolution.
- Documentation of each resolution; for incident closure, whilst contributing to the organisation’s knowledge base.
- Installation and configuration of software.
- Build and deployment of technology equipment.
- React to alerts from the monitoring system or from third-party suppliers or vendors.
- Perform user data restores, as requested through the ticketing system.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Service Desk Technician, or similar role.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems; including the last three versions.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining Microsoft Active Directory.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining Microsoft Exchange (on-premise or on-line with Office 365 license management).
- Minimum 1 years’ experience using Mobile Device Management solutions.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience using monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Minimum 3 years maintaining end-user devices; including desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablets and smartphones.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience maintaining networking devices; including switches, routers and wireless access points.
- Microsoft server and desktop MCP certifications.
